Study of Emotion and Experience in Development (SEED)

The Sandre Lab at Western University is looking for young adults to participate in a research study called the Study of Emotion and Experience in Development (SEED). This study explores how life experiences and family mental health relate to brain activity. 

What’s involved:

  • A 1-hour online questionnaire
  • A 2-hour in-person lab visit, where brain activity is measured using a safe, non-invasive method called electroencephalography (EEG)
 

Eligibility:

  • Ages 18–30
  • No history of serious neurological conditions (e.g., epilepsy)
  • No significant head injury involving loss of consciousness longer than 10 minutes 

Compensation:

  • $30 total ($10 for the survey, $20 for the lab visit)
