Clinical interests: Providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation services to children and families with complex needs within a tertiary care setting. Dual Diagnosis: Behaviour & Anxiety Clinic provides primarily outpatient services within an interdisciplinary team approach. Psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children with intellectual/developmental disabilities and emotional disorders (anxiety and mood disorders) using an adapted cognitive behavioural approach. Treatment of behaviour disorders using a bio-psycho-social model of interdisciplinary practice and ABA principles. Practica students would have an opportunity to assess and address a wide variety of mental health symptoms and behaviour disorders in the context of a complex population of children and youth presenting with intellectual disabilities.
